About

An independent coaching service, run with clear limits

ConsulMD helps Canadian applicants think clearly about medical education and the admissions process, then do their own work well.

How we work

Applicants usually arrive with the same problem in different forms: the material is there, but the reasoning is not yet visible on the page or in the room. Our job is to make your reasoning legible without replacing your voice.

Sessions are one-to-one and online. You bring drafts, notes, or questions; we work through them together; you receive written feedback afterward within the turnaround listed for your service.

Who reviews your work

Your work is reviewed by Canadian physicians who have previous experience in the Canadian medical school admissions process.

We do not publish reviewer names, photographs, biographies, employers, schools, or training details. Keeping reviewers private lets them give candid feedback and avoids any suggestion of current institutional involvement or endorsement.

What we stand for

  • Canadian-focused

Canadian applications have their own formats, timelines, and expectations. That is the only cycle we work on.

  • Candid, not harsh

You will hear what is not working and why. You will also hear what is already strong, because knowing that changes how you write.

  • Structure over scripts

We teach frameworks you can apply to prompts nobody has seen, not answers to memorize.

  • Reapplicants welcome

Applying more than once is common and says nothing about your capability. We start with diagnosis, not blame.

Our coaching promise

Your application remains yours. We help you identify experiences, clarify your reasoning, organize your ideas, and revise your own work. We do not invent experiences, ghostwrite submissions, reproduce confidential admissions material, or promise admissions outcomes.

Independence

ConsulMD is an independent educational coaching service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any medical school, university, application service, or testing organization. Reviewers rely only on publicly available information and do not use confidential admissions materials.
